Workers’ Compensation

The North Carolina General Assembly created the Industrial Commission in 1929 to administer the state’s first Workers’ Compensation Act. Tailored to address the complex issues arising from workplace injuries and occupational diseases, the Act provides compensation to injured workers pursuant to the criteria set forth in Chapter 97 of the North Carolina General Statutes.

Cauley Pridgen, P.A. represents municipalities, employers and injured workers across the state to assist them in effectively resolving all claims brought before the Industrial Commission and appellate courts.
